Breastfeeding Update...

Today I got the ok from the pediatrician to exclusively breastfeed the big guy. We have been practicing and until it gets closer to the time I will be going back to work, we are going to limit his bottlefeeding to only when I am not around to breastfeed him. Then, we will proceed with my original plan. So far, it has been great! I was able to breastfeed him once we were in the room waiting for the doctor and we had no meltdowns (like we usually do) he is also much happier afterwards as opposed to when he gets the bottle. The little guy still gets his 10 minute sessions once per day, and he enjoys them. I am also pumping 6 times per day taking a break at night when they sleep, so its more manageable. I think I just might be able to do this! My goal is to provide breastmilk (one way or the other) for at least a year...4 months down, 8 to go!
