Quarantine?

The little guy has been sounding somewhat congested the last few days, so I've been bracing myself for a cold to come on followed by some serious quarantine. So far the boys have made it 4.5 months without getting sick so I'm happy we've made it this far. However, I won't be happy if the little guy does get sick because with his breathing issues it could get pretty bad. For now, we are taking every precaution: keeping him warm, going back to every other day baths, keeping the humidifier on 24/7, keeping his monitor on 24/7 (so I can make sure he is oxygenating ok), limiting visitors, and practicing excellent hygiene-like we are in the NICU (maybe I will invest in 100 cases of the "good" jelly).

Of course, today my wife thinks he sounds better so maybe it isn't as bad as I'm thinking. I hope not anyway. As for the big guy, so far so good. He is a happy boy so long as he is fed, changed, bathed, and held. Thats the thing with twins (or siblings in general), when one is sick, the other is sure to follow!

With school starting and my wife being a teacher, I've already put a plan in place for disinfecting her when she comes home and before she handles the boys. I imagine I will be this way until they are about to go off to college, so I'm sure she is going to be used to it!
