I love my king size bed. It was one of my favorite possessions I brought to our new house when we moved in. It is a comfy mattress/water bed. I know it sounds so 70's but I love my bed. My wife hates it! She claims the bed is going to swallow her up one day because it sinks in at the middle. I think it's all in her mind. Like I said ..... I love my bed.
Lately I haven't enjoyed my bed. The boys have taken over! My wife and I are creating two monsters by letting the boys sleep with us every night. They fall asleep in bed with us and we dare ask the question, " Do we move em' to their bed with the risk of waking them up?". HELL NO! So they sleep where they lie, which is usually in the middle of our bed. (Which doesn't sink in, by the way).
My wife and I have to either sleep sitting up at the head of the bed or find some room at the foot of the bed. Either way results in a stiff neck or back. So we take turns. " Hmmm....what do I want tonight? Neck or back pain?" Never mind that they have a fully furnished nursery with two cribs-cribs and furniture that took me forever to put together. Will they ever sleep in that room? I don't know. By the time my wife decides to let go and take the next step and have them sleep in the nursery I will have to readjust the beds to accommodate two toddlers.
